The experience was splendid. At first I was afraid but after we were settled all of the nervousness disappeared. I learned quite a few new words – the particular reason for this is that our course lecturer (David Schofield) used fun ways to entertain us and teach us at the same time. I would do this all over again a milion times. He encouraged my love for English therefore I'm looking forward to meeting him in the future.

The English week started on 20th February 2023. It was organized by The Sidas language school with its director and lecturer Mr David Schofield. We were doing a lot of activities, exercises, role plays, games and stories. It was based mostly on communication so our speaking abilities got better. Even the teacher was amazing. David was funny and nice so it made the week even better. We think that it was great, we would definitely recommend the course to students next year.
At the end of the week on 24th Feburary we were given the certificates on completing and taking part of the course.

Anglický týždeň trval od 20.februára do 24.februára 2023. Lektor sa volal David. Vymýšľal nám veľa aktivít, každý musel veľa rozprávať, nikto nemohol byť ticho. Hry boli zamerané na komunikáciu. Niekedy to bolo ľahšie, niekedy ťažšie. Veľa sme sa nasmiali. Naučili sme sa niečo nové. Odporúčame to každému, kto sa chce zlepšiť v angličtine a niečo nové sa naučiť. Na konci sme všetci dostali certifikáty o absolvovaní kurzu.

Last week we had an English course with David. He is a teacher from Liverpool, but now he lives in Slovakia. He had unique sense of humour and he was very knowledgeable. Sometimes we couldn't understand him but we always tried to communicate.
We did a lot of fun activities and games. For example we played the Telephone game or pantomime. Also we did some acting scenes, but I think that nobody liked it, because it was kind of awkward. We talked about different topics: shops, drugs, professions, hobbies, Slovak history, criminals, conspiracy theories and a lot more.
Every day he gave us questions about general knowledge. Mostly they were hard questions
no one could answer. However, it was a really interesting experience and I'm glad I could be there and learn something new.
